Avoid soaking the tray in water or placing it in the dishwasher, as moisture can cause the wood to warp or crack. After cleaning, store the tray in a dry and ventilated place, standing it upright so both sides are able to breathe.
Strong detergents or abrasive materials should be avoided, as they may strip the protective mineral oil layer from the wood. Re-oil periodically if the surface appears dry.
